Warranty Policy

At Veltrix Auto Parts, we strive to provide reliable, quality-tested used auto parts at competitive prices. Because our products are used automotive components sourced from salvage and recycled vehicles, we understand the importance of providing clear warranty terms and customer support.

This Warranty Policy explains the warranty coverage, exclusions, claim process, and customer responsibilities for used auto parts purchased from Veltrix Auto Parts.

1. Warranty Coverage

Unless otherwise stated on the product listing, invoice, or order confirmation, eligible used auto parts sold by Veltrix Auto Parts may be covered by a limited warranty.

Warranty coverage applies only to the specific part sold and does not cover labor, installation, diagnostic fees, rental vehicles, towing, transportation, or other incidental expenses.

The applicable warranty period will be stated on the product listing, invoice, order confirmation, or other documentation provided with your purchase.

2. What the Warranty Covers

Our limited warranty generally covers defects in the part that existed at the time of sale and prevent the part from functioning as intended under normal use.

Depending on the part, warranty coverage may include:

  • -Failure of the covered component during the applicable warranty period

  • -Defects in materials or workmanship attributable to the part

  • -Functional failure that is not caused by improper installation, misuse, or other excluded circumstances

The warranty applies only to the original purchaser and the original vehicle for which the part was purchased, unless otherwise stated in writing.

3. Parts That May Have Special Warranty Terms

Certain components may have warranty requirements or limitations specific to their type.

These may include:

  • -Engines

  • -Transmissions

  • -Transfer cases

  • -Differentials

  • -Electrical and electronic components

  • -Computers and control modules

  • -Hybrid or electric vehicle components

  • -Air-conditioning components

  • -Body and interior parts

  • -Suspension and steering components

Where special conditions apply, those conditions will take priority over the general terms of this Warranty Policy.

Used engines and transmissions may require additional installation procedures and maintenance requirements.

Where applicable, customers may be required to:

  • -Replace fluids and filters before operation

  • -Install new seals and gaskets where appropriate

  • -Replace external components or accessories as recommended

  • -Properly flush and service related systems

  • -Follow manufacturer-recommended installation procedures

  • -Ensure the cooling and lubrication systems are functioning correctly

Failure to properly install, service, or maintain an engine or transmission may void the warranty.

Specific warranty requirements provided with the individual part or order must be followed.

5. Installation Requirements

Parts must be installed by a qualified automotive technician or according to appropriate manufacturer-recommended procedures.

Customers are responsible for ensuring that the part purchased is compatible with their vehicle before installation.

Veltrix Auto Parts is not responsible for damage caused by:

To process a warranty claim, we may request:

  1. -Order or invoice information

  2. -Customer name and contact information

  3. -Vehicle year, make, model, and VIN

  4. -Description of the problem

  5. -Date the problem occurred

  6. -Installation information

  7. -Photos or videos showing the issue

  8. -Diagnostic codes or technician documentation

  9. -Proof of professional installation or other documentation when applicable

Do not remove, disassemble, modify, or dispose of the part before contacting us if the part may be subject to a warranty claim.

9. Inspection of Warranty Claims

Veltrix Auto Parts may require the part to be inspected before approving a warranty claim.

If an inspection is required, the customer may need to return the part to us or to a location designated by Veltrix Auto Parts.

A warranty claim will be evaluated based on the condition of the part, the circumstances of the failure, installation and maintenance records, and the applicable warranty terms.

Submitting a warranty claim does not automatically mean that the claim will be approved.

10. Warranty Remedies

If a warranty claim is approved, Veltrix Auto Parts may, at its discretion and subject to applicable law:

  • -Provide a replacement part

  • -Provide another comparable part

  • -Repair the covered part where reasonably possible

  • -Issue a refund or partial refund where appropriate

Replacement parts may be subject to the same or remaining warranty period as the original purchase unless otherwise stated.

If the exact replacement part is unavailable, Veltrix Auto Parts may provide a comparable alternative or another appropriate remedy.

11. Return of Defective Parts

When required for a warranty claim, the defective part must be returned to Veltrix Auto Parts within the timeframe provided by our customer service team.

The part may be inspected before a replacement or refund is issued.

Customers should retain all packaging and documentation until the warranty claim has been resolved.

12. Warranty Void Conditions

A warranty may be void if:

  • -The part has been disassembled without authorization

  • -The part has been modified or altered

  • -The identification markings, serial numbers, or warranty labels have been removed or altered

  • -The part was installed incorrectly

  • -Required maintenance was not performed

  • -The part was used for an unintended purpose

  • -The vehicle was used for racing or competition

  • -The failure resulted from another defective component

  • -The customer continued operating the vehicle after a known failure

  • -The part was transferred to another vehicle or owner where the warranty is non-transferable

13. Used and Recycled Parts

Veltrix Auto Parts sells used automotive components. Used parts may show normal signs of previous use, including minor scratches, surface wear, discoloration, or other cosmetic imperfections.

Such conditions do not necessarily indicate a defect and are generally not covered under the warranty.

Unless specifically stated otherwise, the warranty concerns the functional operation of the covered component rather than its cosmetic condition.

14. Compatibility

Customers are responsible for confirming that a part is suitable for their vehicle.

Vehicle year, make, model, engine, transmission, trim level, VIN, production date, and other specifications may affect compatibility.

When available, customers should provide accurate vehicle information, including the VIN, before purchasing.

Veltrix Auto Parts will make reasonable efforts to assist customers in identifying compatible parts, but final installation and compatibility should be verified by the customer or a qualified technician.

15. Manufacturer and Third-Party Warranties

Some products may include a separate manufacturer, supplier, or third-party warranty.

If a separate warranty applies, its terms may differ from this Warranty Policy. Customers should review the applicable warranty documentation provided with the product.

16. Shipping Damage

Customers should inspect shipments promptly after delivery.

If a part appears to have been damaged during shipping, please contact Veltrix Auto Parts as soon as possible and provide photographs of the packaging and damaged part.

Shipping-related claims may be subject to separate shipping carrier requirements and applicable time limits.

17. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Veltrix Auto Parts’ liability under this Warranty Policy is limited to the remedies expressly provided under the applicable warranty.

Veltrix Auto Parts is not responsible for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages to the extent such limitations are permitted by applicable law.

Nothing in this Warranty Policy is intended to exclude or limit any rights or remedies that cannot legally be excluded or limited under applicable federal or state law.

18. Changes to This Warranty Policy

Veltrix Auto Parts may update this Warranty Policy from time to time.

Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date. The warranty terms applicable to a particular purchase will generally be determined by the terms provided at the time of that purchase, subject to applicable law.
